The hotel was small but lovely, offering free internet. My double room had complimentary WiFi and coffee. The location was absolutely perfect in a very nice area.

Great attention to detail - bathroom products, fresh fruit and magazines in reception of bedroom block. Beautiful bedroom, very comfortable bed, very clean. Good, reasonably priced food in restaurant. Hotel in lovely area, very welcoming staff. Perfect start to our Queen Mary 2 cruise.

The staff at The Pilgrim Inn were friendly and welcoming. The location was beautiful and convenient. The superior double room was top-class, with fantastic air conditioning, and offered great value. The service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the hotel was gorgeous, and I would definitely stay here again.

One of the receptionists (an older one) was excellent.
One of the receptionists (an older one) was excellent; the other was poor. The room was fine although the front door banged heavily everytime someone came in to the building. The food was fair but no more: the cod was greasy and the cheese starter was poor. The breakfast was just about sufficient (full English) but poor compared to similarly priced alternatives.
